This quote is so hard for anxious people to accept.  They feel like they are in control of their future and believe if they do x,y,z it will get them to a specific locations.  Not saying here that can’t happen…however I find that most people’s journeys in life often take them to unexpected territory where different opportunities are presented that they never thought of.  Expectation can bring on a lot of pressure and anxiety, Shakespeare knew this so many years ago.

The Blogspiration challenge this week is 1 of 2 challenges (or both if you are up to it!):

  1. Reflect 5 years ago…back then where did you think you would be?  Is it where you are now or did your journey take you somewhere different?  How do you feel about where you are now?
  2. Think about where you want to be in 5yrs from now and write it down.  Put it someplace and set a reminder to check in 5yrs and see where life has brought you.

Enjoy the journey and let go of pressures or expectations, you may find you are exactly where you need to be, you just don’t know it yet! 🙂
